Accounts and enquiries
You can browse and prepare a WhatsApp quote enquiry without an account. An account is required to save website jobs or place an order. Use accurate details, keep your password private and verify your email. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised use. Account creation is free and does not commit you to an order. Acceptance of these terms is separate from optional cookies or marketing permission. Our privacy notice explains use of your information.
Prices and confirmation
Prices are in GBP. Configurator and Basic-mode estimates depend on the details entered and may exclude delivery, installation or applicable VAT as indicated alongside the price. Check the itemised final total, including any applicable VAT and delivery, before committing. A quote enquiry, callback request or automated receipt is not acceptance of an order. A contract forms when NodeX confirms acceptance of the specific work in writing, including the specification and total. If an error or practical limitation is found, we explain it and seek your agreement before proceeding; if you do not agree, money taken for work we cannot supply is refunded. We do not make unagreed changes to a confirmed price.
Artwork and proofs
Supply artwork and photographs you have permission to use. Check wording, spelling, measurements, colours, materials, placement and the final proof carefully. Screen colours, simulated illumination and shopfront mockups are illustrative; exact finishes and physical installation are confirmed by the studio. We request approval before manufacture. A request to change an approved design can affect cost or timing and must be agreed. Approval does not remove your statutory rights if we supply faulty goods or fail to follow the agreed specification. Customer artwork remains yours; you authorise its use only as needed to prepare and fulfil the job. Publicity use needs separate permission.
Payments
Signs use a reviewed quote and bank transfer to the business account supplied for that job. Include the exact quote or order reference and verify unexpected bank-detail changes by contacting NodeX through known details. A customer's transfer notification is not a payment receipt. Direct online payment is available only for products where the checkout offers it; Stripe handles payment entry. Never send card details in artwork, messages or notes. The agreed payment schedule is stated in the order confirmation. If we take payment but do not accept an order, we refund it.
Production, delivery and installation
Standard sign production is normally 10–14 working days after the required final approval, payment and production information have been received. A rush service is subject to studio acceptance, takes a minimum of five working days and adds £500 where selected. Delivery, site access, installation, electrical work and any permissions must be agreed in the quote; they are not automatically included in a sign estimate. Product-specific lead times and any agreed deadline appear in the confirmation. We tell you about material delays and discuss the available remedy. These estimates do not limit statutory delivery or cancellation rights.
Cancellations, defects and complaints
Read our Delivery, cancellations & returns policy at /returns. Made-to-measure and clearly personalised goods are normally excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right; this does not remove rights for faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods. A standard item is not excluded simply because it is made after ordering. Contact us promptly about a cancellation, damage or problem so we can investigate and agree the appropriate refund, repair or replacement. There is no blanket exclusion of refunds and no mandatory short reporting deadline that removes consumer rights.
Where a consumer service has a cancellation period, we obtain any legally required express request before starting during that period and explain any proportionate charge or circumstances in which the cancellation right ends. Accepting these general terms alone does not waive that right.
Legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits mandatory consumer rights. English law applies, subject to the mandatory protections and court rights available to consumers where they live.
